Farm life is a far cry from the brick row homes I grew up in back in Philadelphia. I have always been fascinated by farm living. After visiting my relatives in Italy back in 2005, I was inspired by their simple, multi-family, multi-generational living. In 2007, our family sold our just constructed home and embarked on a new adventure. Our goal was to have my family, my mother, and my sister Stephanie's family all living together on one large property. We were lucky enough to find a local 1800's era farmette that fit the bill. We have been living here since June 2007 and currently have horses, chickens, cats, and dogs. Stephanie has yet to make her move from the big city but her building lot is ready and waiting for her!
